Slight slope, downhill and very little uphill: the ideal itinerary for many cyclists. In Val di Fassa the wish to cover a pleasant trail of 48,100 km on two wheels, without tiring oneself, is realized along the cycle path that joins the Ladin land to nearby Val di Fiemme (estimated time to cover it is approximately 3-4 hours). Every day, except Saturday, from 22nd June to 14th September 2014, thanks to the service Bike Express Fassa-Fiemme (a 30-50 seated coach provided with bike trolley), one can cycle from Canazei (1,465 m) down to Molina di Fiemme (965 m), the two termini of the valleys, and get back uphill on the convenient shuttle.
The Bike Express Fassa-Fiemme is an interesting opportunity for families with children who love cycling, for cyclists not on top form and for all those who wish to pedal along calmly and admire the panorama, stopping off amidst the green, visiting typical villages in the valleys of Fassa and Fiemme, counting on the bus service for getting back to their holiday resorts.
There are 15 stops along the route where cyclists can get on or off, depending on where they set off from and their destination, with 3 daily runs, one in the morning (leaving Molina di Fiemme at 9.15 a.m.) and two in the afternoon (leaving Molina di Fiemme at 1.30 p.m. and at 5.10 p.m.). The ticket costs € 8,00 per person, for any section of the route covered (€ 7,00 for the Val di Fassa Card owners); € 3,00 for the children up to 12 years (with or without bike transport; € 2,00 with Val di Fassa Card). Compulsory reservation only for groups from 10 up to 25 people, within 6.00 p.m. of the of the day before the tour, at the Tourist Office of Mazzin, Phone +39 0462 609650 - Fax +39 0462 767361.
