This will be a "green" summer in Val di Fassa, protagonist of the newest series "Dolomites Vives" (Dolomites alive, in Ladin), that will be launched on 5th July by Reinhold Messner: the appointment, thanks to the efforts of the "Tavolo interprovinciale per i passi dolomitici" (involving the Provinces of Trento and Bolzano, the Comun General de Fascia and the municipalities of Canazei and Selva Val Gardena, as well as Val di Fassa Tourist Board and the tourism associations of Gardena and Alta Badia), is every Wednesday of July and August at Città dei Sassi on Sella Pass with concerts and shows with artists of international fame, talks with sport champions and exquisite tastings with starred chefs. Last but not least, a permanent workshop by Fondazione Dolomiti Unesco and the Muse museum from Trento, to describe the peculiarities of the Dolomites, as well as excursions with the mountain guides.

By public transport
Road no. 242 - that provides access to Sella Pass - is closed off at the crossroads with Pordoi Pass, just before "Pian de Schiaveneis". From Canazei, the connection to Sella Pass is guaranteed by local public transport, with departures every 15 minutes (except lunch break). PanoramaPass is valid. Download the timetables in PDF format
From Canazei, following trail no. 655: 3 hours, about 800 meter a.s.l.
By cable car
Col Rodella cable car from Campitello di Fassa (parking). Then on foot following trail no. 529, downhill, to "Sforcella Rodella", and then trail no. 557 to Passo Sella: 1 hour, 200 metres a.s.l.
