18 trails in Val di Fassa
Nordic walking began as a new outdoor walking discipline aimed at relaxation and fitness. It consists on walking on mountain paths, fields and valleys, equipped with special poles to make 90% of the body’s muscles move, simultaneously using one’s arms, legs, chest, shoulders and neck. Originally practised by cross country skiers for summer training, this discipline has grown enormously in recent years because it is a low impact activity which does not stress one’s body joints and can be practised by everybody, in deep contact with the nature.
