Val di Fassa, wear snowshoes and chill out. Let’s start from the softer outdoor proposal: snowshoes. The most relaxing and low cost activity, the ideal one if you are longing for a full immersion into the wildest nature. Enjoy the slow and meditative rhythm of winter mountains along our enchanting itineraries: Val Duron, Val San Nicolò, Val Monzoni and Fuciade.

Val di Fassa, great fun on a sledge run! Sledging ranks in the 9th place of winter sport hit parade, and no special skills are required to have fun! Amusing sledge runs are to be experienced at day, but especially at night, to add that perfect ending to a pleasant high-altitude refuge dinner with friends.

Val di Fassa, Cross-country tracks for masters. Cross-country skiing is in 8th place and regaining in popularity. Marcialonga of Fiemme and Fassa, scheduled on the last Sunday of January, crosses the valley along a classic, world-famous track. More than 50 km of cross-country slopes are waiting for you, most of them are free-access and some get even enlighten at night.

Val di Fassa, welcome to Alpine-ski planet. Let’s start feeling snow thrills! Downhill skiing is in the 7th position, being the unrivalled king of winter sports. About 210 km and 152 ski slopes, perfectly snow covered, connected by ski-tracks or ski bus. Canazei and Campitello are the gateways to Sellaronda - the amazing ski circuit crossing four Ladin valleys around the Sella Massif -, Panorama and Sass Becé tours.

Val di Fassa, we make slopes shine even at night… Ready for strong emotions? Night skiing is classed at the 6th place. If 210 km of ski runs are not enough for your ski-hunger, then the Aloch slope in Pozza di Fassa is what you need. A very demanding and challenging black run (measuring 1.2 km and having an average slope of 27%), is enlighten at night twice a week.

Val di Fassa, Freestyle freaks you out! Adrenaline is at full blast in Val di Fassa snowparks! Freestyle ranks 5th in the coolest outdoor proposals. Riders from all over the world gather together to surf the best snow of the Dolomites and to compete in amazing ski or snowboard performances, jumps and acrobatic tricks. Top spots: Dolomiti Park at Belvedere, Sanpe Snowpark at San Pellegrino Pass, Buffaure Snowpark at Buffaure.

Val di Fassa, Ski-Alp peak experiences. We now approach the hot-zone of the top ten, and ski-mountaineering climbs in the 4th place. Physical training is definitely required, but ski-alp will offer you top experiences. Go off the beaten tracks, slowly ascend hollows, face enchanting mountain ridges, reach the top and enjoy the spectacular majesty of the Dolomites. Val Contrin, Val Duron, Val Monzoni and Vajolet Valley: breathtaking mountains will fill your eyes with wonder and lift your spirit high.

Val di Fassa, Ice climbing and adrenaline flowing. The 3rd place goes to real mountain-insiders. Ice climbing deserves our bronze medal: no doubt you need to keep a cool head to climb vertical ice walls, equipped with picks and crampons. Expert climbers can choose Val Udai, Marmolada and Pordoi to tackle with the best ice falls of Fassa!

Val di Fassa, Freeriders’ natural paradise. Let’s move to the second position: shocking emotions are waiting for freeriders! Thanks to its endless source of gulley, narrow valleys and fresh-snow to be carved with skis, Val di Fassa is a magnet for powder-seekers. Most renowned itineraries are Val Mezdì and Val Lastìes, and the off-piste tracks of Marmolada and Col Margherita north face at San Pellegrino Pass.

Val di Fassa, High Flying thrills! And paragliding comes out on top of Fassa outdoor hit list. Seeking an ultimate adrenaline rush? A two-seater paragliding flight, accompanied by the world champion Jimmy Pacher is the answer. You will take off from the panoramic Col Rodella, above Campitello, and fly over Fassa valley, getting breathtakingly carried away!
