 Val di Fassa: heart of the Dolomites and Ladin soul In the shade of the Dolomites (Unesco World Natural Heritage), the Val di Fassa is the only valley in Trentino with a ladin heart. The Ladins are a ethnic minority which continue to defend proudly its cultural, linguistic and gastronomic roots. The dolomitic Ladinia is a land which stretches from the dell of Ampezzo to the Sella Massif and includes the Gardena, Badia, Fassa and Livinallongo valleys.
