Baby tours around the mountains. The Dolomites are friends of your children. In Val di Fassa, even the youngest guests can experience incredible adventures, like real highlanders. Pupils won’t have the time to get bored and, sometimes, not even to rest: let’s toddle bright and early to reach the dairies at altitude, to see the milking and the production of butter and cheese, or even to go and discover the forests’ inhabitants and the ancient Ladin legends. The excursions indicated here are planned to spend a day in the open air, plunged in nature, with the whole family. The list includes easy walks around the villages, sensorial itineraries in the woods, thematic paths along the valley and at altitude (ascent with the lifts, break by the mountain refuge), to face also with a baby carrier. Before leaving for an excursion, take your time and consider the duration and the altitude gap of the itinerary, but also the age and the physical skills of the kids, to avoid wearing them out. In the trekking section you find other walks that are recommended for children only in part (ex. the stretches from Col dei Rossi to Rifugio Viel dal Pan; from Ciampedìe to Rifugio Vajolet; from Rifugio Paolina to Rifugio Roda de Vael; from Col Rodella to Rifugio Pertini; from Passo Sella to Rifugio Comici).
