With ropes and clamps... ready for adventure with the Alpine guides on the rock walls! The world of climbing is revealed to children, who learn to move vertically, climb rock walls, go across rope bridges or down zip wires to get closer to the world of mountaineering in complete safety while having fun.
Meeting point: at 9.00 a.m. in Piaza de Sèn Nicolò in Pozza di Fassa. Short briefing about the excursion and equipment delivery (helmet and harness).
Programme: easy naturalistic hike in Val San Nicolò; we will reach "Sasso Sei" on foot, located near the mountain hut Malga al Crocifisso. Here we will learn the climbing techniques and how to safety descend by using the rope. We will have lunch at 12.30 p.m. at the restaurant Malga al Crocifisso (against payment, € 10,00). We will continue the activities in the afternoon crossing a Tibetan bridge, descending with a rope zipline, fording the stream and going back to Pozza di Fassa. Return at about 4.00 p.m.
In case of bad weather, after the short briefing, the mountain guides can decide to carry out the activity at the climbing centre "Adel" in Campitello di Fassa. Admission fee € 7,00. Transfer by own means.
Clothes and shoes suitable for mountain excursions required. Any transport service has to be directly paid by participants.
Compulsory registration by the Tourist Offices of the valley within 6.30 p.m. of the previous day with the Val di Fassa Card. Limited number of places. For children from 7 up to 14 years. The lunch fee must be paid at the time of enrolment.
