The strongest rookies of skiing, aged between 16 and 20 years, will arrive from all over the world to take part in the most important appointment that officially opens the doors of their international competitive carrier.
Skistadium Aloch in Pozza and the slope La VolatA on San Pellegrino will host the competitions (Aloch for the slalom, giant slalom, the team event and the Alpine combined; La VolatA for the super giant slalom and the Alpine combined) while Canazei will host the World Championship opening ceremony and in Moena there will be the "medal plaza" for the awardings and the festive moments.
Many challenges, supported by the two responsible ski clubs - Ski Team Fassa and Unione Sportiva Monti Pallidi - and by the five ski schools of the valley, taking care of the technical aspects of the competitions. Also essential is the collaboration of Dolomiti Superski, the mountain lift companies, Val di Fassa Tourist Board, Trentino Marketing and of the Municipalities.
Val di Fassa will be flanked in this adventure by "Neif" (snow in Ladin) - a snowflake with pools in its hands and skis under its feet - the mascot drawn by a student of the local Art and design shool.
