The launch of the DoloMyths Run Vertical Kilometer will take place on Thursday night at 6.30 p.m. in the square "Piaz G. Marconi".

This summer, Val di Fassa will be again the leading spot of the international skyrunning season, hosting a series of events united under a unique brand, DoloMyths Run. This name gathers four important competitions: Ultra Trail, Half Trail, Vertical and Skyrace. For the DoloMyths Run Vertical Kilometer, a regiment of about 300 sky runner will be on the start line, in "Ciasates" in Alba di Canazei on Friday July 16th at 9.00 a.m., of a totally uphill run as prelude to the prestigious DoloMyths Run Skyrace on 18th July. The DoloMyths Run Vertical Kilometer sees the participants ascending from Alba di Canazei, at 1,465 metres, to the 2,465 metres of "Spiz - Crepa Neigra", after 2,4 kilometres running and thousand metres of altitude gap. Professional runners and passionates of the discipline will be flanked by the junior categories, from 16 years old, the champions of the future, who will face each other according to dedicated rules.
