The launch of the DoloMyths Run Skyrace takes place on Saturday afternoon at 6.30 p.m. in the square "Piaz G. Marconi".

This summer, Val di Fassa will be again the leading spot of the international skyrunning season, hosting a series of events united under a unique brand, DoloMyths Run. This name gathers four important competitions: Ultra Trail, Half Trail, Vertical Kilometer and Skyrace, the great competition taking place in Canazei on next July 18th.
The DoloMyths Run Skyrace is an exciting adrenalin-filled high altitude race in the Dolomites. It is one of the major international events, as tough as impressive: 22 kilometers of fatigue, first though the woods and then, beyond the vegetation line, though the bare rock running sections of fixed ropes and pure climbing. Athletes will reach the Refuge Capanna Piz Fassa and "Piz Boè" at an altitude of 3,152 meters and will return with a breathtaking descent back to the Canazei’s finish line.
