Openining times: from June to October
Description: inaugurated in June 2015 on Pordoi Pass at the centre "Bruno Crepaz", owned by the "CAI" (Italian Alpine Club) and moved in 2018 to the bottom station of the cable car "Sass Pordoi", the museum is managed by the "Associazione Storico Culturale Col di Lana - Livinallongo - Buchenstein". The group has studied and collected, during several years, more than 3000 findings and relics, now available to visitors on 450 square metres of exhibition, offering an accurate picture of the Great War on "Col di Lana" (Falzarego Pass) and on Marmolada glacier, thanks to the reconstruction of both Italian and Austrian barracks, trenches equipped with machineguns, several photos and vintage huge pictures. But the most interesting aspect of the exhibition may be constituted by the objects, handmade by the soldiers (in the moments of freedom) with bomb, rifle and grid fragments engraved with thoughts and prayers.
Opening times from July 1st to September 30th: every day from 10.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
