Description: launched in August 2018, the themed path "In search of the Salvan", dedicated to families and children in particular, brings at the discovery of a surprising installation. Along the itinerary, that develops along the SAT path no. 643 and can be taken either from nearby the "Buffaure" cabin lift (about 30 minutes) or from the forest road "Frainela" (about 1 hour) - there are some wooden panels, written in Ladin and in Italian, that give clues to reach the "Salvan": a huge installation realized, with the financial help of the municipality, by "63 Grammi", an organization from Trentino, namely Silvia Conotter of "Il Trentino Alto Adige dei Bambini", the artist Francesco Avancini and the illustrator Michela Molinari. The work (almost 12 metres), created with natural and waste materials, is surprising: go and check it out!
The itinerary is suitable for families with children. Only the forest road "Frainela" (from the restaurant "Malga Crocifisso" to the "Salvan") is suitable for trekking-strollers.
To avoid the last, steep and uneven stretch of the path, once reached the crossroad with the forest road, turn right and walk half-way up the hill, through the meadows, reaching the parking lot in front of the discount grocery store in "Meida".
