There are so many refuges, chalets and lodges open in winter in Val di Fassa, which are located near the slopes and where you can stop for a break from skiing. Some of them also offer accommodation facilities. Sleeping in a refuge at 2,000 metres above the sea level, under a starry sky, surrounded by silent nature and by the Dolomites, is an experience for real mountaineers only. In addition, the simple, family-run, genuine hospitality, the taste of dishes made according to old recipes, stories told by the fireplace. There are also huts in the side valleys, accessible on foot, by snowmobile or snow groomer, refreshment bars nearby the lifts and mountain dairies, where you can have a snack of mountain products.

Your night out starts in one of the many après-skis in the valley (Alba di Canazei, Canazei, Campitello di Fassa, Pozza di Fassa, Vigo di Fassa, Soraga di Fassa and Moena), still with your boots on, just to chill-out and relax from your skiing day.
