From August 5th to 8th, in Val di Fassa, numerous are the occasions to taste the mountain bubbles, served with traditional Ladin menus and more
A long week-end dedicated to the mountain sparkling wine. From August 5th to 8th takes place "Trentodoc on the Dolomites", the event that gives the opportunity to taste at fine bars, wine bars, restaurants, pizzerias and refuges of the valley the organoleptic richness of the wine made by the 57 wineries that are associated to the Trentodoc institute. Each winery has its own philosophy and this gives different scents to the classic method, making it suitable for everybody’s taste, for any occasion and combination, with quality as the common point.
Among the events taking place these days in Val di Fassa, an insight of the different types of Trentodoc: Rosé is the protagonist of the evening appointments with Roberto Anesi – 2017 Best Italian Sommelier / Trentodoc Awarded, by the restaurante El Pael, while the wines refined into huge sized bottle have inspired the menu of the restaurant El Cianton. The wine cellar Valentini in Canazei also hosts 4 days of tasting.
At the Sella Pass (2218 m) the refuge Carlo Valentini offers gourmet picnics, while Baita Checco at Ciampedìe presents a menu with O-miles products and Trentodoc. Rifugio Fuciade, on San Pellegrino Pass, presents its “Sperimenta Trentodoc” menu. An excellent cuisine, inspired to the Ladin tradition, can be savoured by the restaurants Hotel Foresta in Moena, El Filò in Pozza, La Montanara, Rita Stube and Bistrot Artù at the Locanda degli Artisti in Canazei. Add to this the fried dishes of the Villa Ruggero Wine Hotel in Campitello or choose a pizza at Le Giare in Pozza and at the Scoiattolo in Canazei. Last but not least, it is also possible to taste the mountain bubbles served with the starred recipes of the chefs Paolo Donei at Malga Panna and Stefano Ghetta from L Chimpl da Tamion.
