In the valley, from the end of November to January 6th, you can live the atmosphere of the Feasts and find many gift ideas on the market stalls in Campitello and Moena
Many people consider it the most beautiful time of the year, for its merry atmosphere full of love and good intentions related with the Holidays and with the arrival of the New Year. For some others, instead, it is the least fancy, due to the family commitments that multiply and to the chore of purchasing – often at last – the gifts for friends and relatives. It doesn’t matter in which of the two groups you recognize yourself, Val di Fassa and its picturesque "Christmas Markets" are what you need: original gift ideas, shopping in total relaxation, the prickly air and the snow all together create a fairy tale landscape. In the squares of some picturesque villages of the Ladin valley, then, tiny groups of wooden houses await you from the end of November to January 6th, selling their typical products that result to be excellent gift ideas. On November 28th about fifteen little houses open in Moena: this particular shops are distributed through the squares Piaz de Ramon and Piaz de Sotegrava , the small square Perla Alpina and the gardens along the street Strada Riccardo Löwy. Moena, famous at this time of the year for its fine decorations that recall Santa’s Village, is the ideal destination for a walk in the town-centre. Here the Christmas shopping dates in the "Fairy of the Dolomites": on November 28th and 29th, from December 4th to 8th and from December 11th to 13th and, finally, from December 18th to January 6th (the Market is closed on Christmas Day).
It’s also worth visiting the Christmas Market in Campitello, which develops in the heart of the village between the squares Piaz de Ciampedel and Piaz Veie. About ten wooden houses offer to the visitors the opportunity to buy artisanal and artistic products as well as food and wine products, typical of the Dolomites. The Christmas market in Campitello will be officially open from December 5th to December 8th. Afterwards, it will open again on December 12th and 13th and then from December 19th to January 6th (opening time: from 3 to 7 p.m.).
Two opportunities, so, to live some unique experiences, where the safety is ensured, and which add some magic to one of the most beloved times of the year by both adults and children.
