The booklet is dedicated to six villages of Trentino, among which Vigo di Fassa, all part of the club "I Borghi più belli d’Italia", and it invites people to visit this special hamlets
Since 2017, Vigo has been part of the club "I borghi più belli d’Italia". Trentino Marketing, in collaboration with the local Tourist Boards, has drawn up a communication and promotion project for Vigo and for the other 5 most beautiful villages of our province. Among the several initiatives that have been planned – such as photoshooting, video, articles on magazines and newspapers, trips for journalists and influencers – partly realised and partly planned for the next months (postponed for the pandemic), there is also the short guide "Borghi più belli del Trentino. Tesori d’arte, di storia e di tradizioni gastronomiche". The booklet dedicates about ten pages to each hamlet, which are Vigo, Bondone, Rango, San Lorenzo in Banale, Canale di Tenno and Mezzano. Browsing the guide, you find: a brief description of every village, with its features and peculiarities, some suggestions on places and itineraries to undertake, several recommendations from the "locals" with further ideas to know more about the village and its surroundings. Moreover, then, there are also advices for the right refreshments and for buying local delicacies.
The "borghi" of Trentino, and Vigo in particular, offer the opportunity to live happy experiences in the majesty of the nature of the Dolomites, as well as to know the local activities, traditions, flavours and the pleasure for the simple things.
Not only at summertime and in the winter, but mostly in-between. An ideal destination, then, since next springtime already, to reach and visit by following the tips of the guide (available by the tourist office of the village) which also includes a tiny surprise for the visitors.
