Only a few know that this town, thanks to its hamlets full of history, is part of the exclusive villages’ club
Vigo, a small village of Fassa, with six wonderful hamlets – Sèn Jan, Costa, Val, Larcioné, Vallonga and Tamion –, has been since July 2nd 2017 part of “Italy’s most beautiful villages”. This tourist resort in Val di Fassa, known for its excellent holiday options during winter and summer, in autumn becomes a place to visit discovering hidden itineraries, picturesque corners, art and architecture pieces, alpine churches, the Ladin Museum of Fassa, as well as "agriturismi” and local products. To help you browse around, there’s a new publication dedicated to the six villages in the region, among which there’s Vigo, that belong to the club "I Borghi più belli d’Italia". Leafing through this guidebook (distributed at the tourist offices of the valley), you’ll find: a brief description of the hamlet, with its features and characteristics, some suggestions about spots to see and itineraries, as well as several recommendations to get to know the village and its surroundings better. Lastly, there’s no shortage of hints for tasty refreshments and shopping. Vigo gives you the opportunity to enjoy beautiful experiences in the magnificence of Dolmites’ nature, to learn about Val di Fassa’s activities, traditions, flavours, and the delight of the little things.
