In Val di Fassa the passion for the mountain-bike blossoms since the childhood. Here, in the Dolomites, it is possible to approach this sport safely, on delimited tracks conceived to let the beginners do their first "ride" and let the young and future talents live a real riding-experience.
There are three skill parks in Val di Fassa, one in Soraga and two in Canazei, with ability tracks on dirt road and on the meadows. Supervised by reliable coaches, children and youngsters face wooden walkways, tilting bridges, parabolic turns, bowls, small jumps and bumps to learn how to manage the balance, the breaks and the gear ratios. After becoming familiar with the two wheels, it is possible to take part in mini-tours with the local MTB guides, both off-road and on the cycle way.
Canazei, at "Ciasates", by the ski lift Avisio. Skill park with pump track area. Open from June 20th to mid-September from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., supervised by a MTB guide. Free entry with one’s own MTB, helmet obligatory. Possibility to take part in MTB test-days, weekly courses and private lessons to learn to ride without training wheels. Info: Sport Check Point
