Description path: once reached the mountain dairy farm Malga Monzoni, go on along path n. 603. At "Pian de Munciogn" (1,900 m), take the path no. 624 on your right. Follow the steep road that goes up through the wood with a notable incline. You will soon find yourself on the gentle and wavy pastures at "Gardeccia", skirting the "Sass Morin" rock. Once reached the crossroads with path no. 603/B to the Refuge T. Taramelli (20 mins). Continue along the cart track that goes up straight along the valley. Here pine trees and spruces leave room to wide meadows. Save breath by following the grassy way that goes through the pastures and then reconnects to the dirt road that leads to the Refuge Vallaccia along wide serpentines (50 mins) From here, go on to the high hollow of "Lastei", delimited by the "Vallaccia" (30 mins). Proceed on your right following the track of the easy path that leads to the overhanging peak of "Sass da le Undesc", prosecution of the rocky bastion of "Zoccol" (2,502 m, 30 mins; 2.10 hours), from which you can enjoy a wonderful landscape on the whole Val di Fassa. Go back along the same path or continue from the crossroads to the vertical eastern wall of the "Pala della Valacia" (10 mins). The path no. 615 oversteps the demanding saddle "Sforcella Valacia" and descends, along some steep screes, to the hut Bivacco Zeni (path no. 615 and 615/B to Malga Crocifisso, 5.30 hours). Otherwise, from the "Pala della Valacia", you can turn left going up to "La Costela". The wide saddle is a crossroad to other itineraries. From here you can proceed along path no. 616 which descends towards Soraga Alta (3 hours), on no. 616/A towards Selle Pass (via Ferrata Bruno Federspiel; 4 hours) or along no. 624 which leads to "Ronchi" ("I Ronc"; 2.30 hours).
Only the route from Pozza or from Malga al Crocifisso to Malga Monzoni is suited for families with children; it is walkable with toddler-carrier/backpack too.
