Description: the Lake of San Pellegrino is placed at the feet of "Col Margherita", on a terrain of volcanic rocks, surrounded by a nice wood of tamaracks and pines. You can get there by car or with public transport from Moena (11 km). Coloured by the seasons’ changing during the year, the mountains reflect themselves into the calm water of the lake, in which it is forbidden to bath. The path starts from the parking in front of Hotel Monzoni. Go down for 50 meters following a small unpaved road that passes through bushes of blueberry, rhododendron and moss cushions. You will arrive at an open space with benches and tables for pic-nick. Continue the walk around the banks of the lake, clockwise or anti-clockwise, through little wooden bridges and gangplanks in the middle of a beautiful nature. The path, except for the first segment, can’t be covered with prams. May and November are the best moments for a visit.
The tour of the Lake of San Pellegrino can be considered the first stage of an easy walk, suitable also for kids, that brings to the wonderful dip of "Fuciade" and to "Valfredda". Quick stop at the Lake of "Pozze", behind Hotel Miralago, meeting point for many fishermen.
