Until March 30th, several appointments enlivens the slopes and the villages with cheeses and local wines aperitifs

Skiing and cheese: a winning combo that in Val di Fassa take the shape of "Happy Cheese". The festival that brings on the ski slopes and in the villages the taste of local cheeses is back with a rich schedule of appointments, especially in March. Among the most fascinating scheduled events, "Taste the Sunset", a tasting on Sass Pordoi, at 2950 metres, on March 6th at sunset (4.45 p.m.). On the "Terrace of the Dolomites" by Rifugio Maria, when the sun makes the peaks turn pink at the Enrosadira, it’s time to taste local cheeses served with Rotari Trentodoc. 
On March 23rd by the mountain hut Baita Paradiso on San Pellegrino Pass, the aperitif of "Happy Cheese" and its delicious Puzzone di Moena finger foods combine with the launching of "Val di Fassa Panorama Music". It is the music festival that until April 7th will enliven ten lunch-breaks of the skiers with ten concerts by pop and rock bands, on the terraces of some of the most beautiful mountain huts in the valley (the majority of which can be reached by non-skiers too). And the music festival will join Happy Cheese once again on March 30th at Baita Checco at Ciampedie in Vigo, where the gourmet finger foods made with the local cheeses will be served with the wines of the Endrizzi cellar. And for those who want to continue with the tasting – this time relaxing in the thermal water of Aloch – the appointment is (at 6.30 p.m.) by QC Terme Dolomiti in Pozza, where the classic "Aperiterme" is enriched by local cheeses and Ferrari Trentodoc. 
The highlights of the festival are accompanied by the tastings at Enoteca Valentini in Canazei on March 22nd (at 6 p.m.) and by "HappyCheese - Pizza & Birra", from March 23rd to 30th by the pizzerias Le Giare in Pozza and La Grotta in Vigo, to add some taste to the entire month. "Happy Cheese" is organised by the Tourist Board Val di Fassa and by the "Dolomites Cheeses Route" in collaboration with the mountain huts, the restaurants and the lift companies of the valley.
