Programme: "L Segat" is one of the interesting detached section of the Ladin Museum of Val di Fassa. It is an exhibition dedicated to wood and wood processing. Seen the importance of this ecosystem for the local people during the centuries, the exhibition focuses on the local essence and on the main jobs linked to the processing of the wood: lumberjack, woodworker and carpenter. Each role is illustrated through texts, historic images, ethnographic objects and films by the Ladin Cultural Institute. Among these, the collection "Bepo e Jan Cherlo" from Moena, carpenter family that has preserved with passion tools that would be impossible to find today. Find even the comparison with modern procedures thanks to the nearest sewery of "Meida".

Reservation required by the Ladin Museum within 7.00 p.m. on the previous day. Meeting point at the sawmill of "Meida" (in front of Hotel Valacia).
