Programme: "L Segat" is one of the interesting detached section of the Ladin Museum of Val di Fassa. It is an exhibition dedicated to wood and wood processing. Seen the importance of this ecosystem for the local people during the centuries, the exhibition focuses on the local essence and on the main jobs linked to the processing of the wood: lumberjack, woodworker and carpenter. Each role is illustrated through texts, historic images, ethnographic objects and films by the Ladin Cultural Institute. Among these, the collection "Bepo e Jan Cherlo" from Moena, carpenter family that has preserved with passion tools that would be impossible to find today. Timetable: every Friday at 11.00 a.m. (duration about 45 mins).
Activity with limited number of participants, minimum 4, maximum 10 people per group. Mandatory phone reservation at the Ladin Museum by the previous day at 6.30 p.m. Phone +39 0462 760182. Without the minimum number of participants, the guided visit will be cancelled. In case of cancellation, the participants will be called within 7.00 p.m. on the previous day.
Price: free for Val di Fassa Guest Card holders.
