Curd cutters, stirring whips and churns won't have any more secrets!
Programme: at the discovery of the section of the Ladin Museum dedicated to the cheese making, hosted by the Val di Fassa cheese factory in Pera. During the guided visit, we will learn about the different aspects of milk, butter, yoghurt and cheese processing, about the cattle driving and the pasturing, and about the managements of the alpine fields throughout the centuries. The visit will conclude with a yummy cheese tasting.
Timetables: on Wednesdays at 11.00 a.m. (duration about 45 mins). Due to the pandemic situation, the access to the productive areas of the cheese factory is suspended.
Activity with limited number of participants, minimum 4, maximum 10 people. Mandatory phone reservation at the Ladin Museum by the previous day at 6.30 p.m. Phone +39 0462 760182. Without the minimum number of participants, the guided visit will be cancelled. In case of cancellation, the participants will be called within 7.00 p.m. on the previous day.
Price: free for Val di Fassa Guest Card holders.
