FIS Baltic Cup

Between January and March, the National Championships of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Brazil are staged at the "Aloch" Ski Stadium

At the Ski Stadium "Aloch" in Pozza, the training venue for the Italian national team and foreign teams, there is great expectation for the FIS Baltic Cup which, after the success of the past three editions, returns again this winter with around 300 skiers involved in seven days of competitions, valid for the Men's and Women's National Championships of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. In 2024 the competitions are set between January and March, namely: 17 January FIS Giant Slalom, 18 January Latvian Championships (Giant Slalom); 23 and 24 January FIS Special Slalom, 25 January Latvian Championships (Special Slalom); 19 March Estonian Championships (Giant Slalom); 21 March Estonian Championships (Special Slalom). On 19 January, again under the Latvian Federation, the "Aloch" slope is reserved for Brazilian athletes who will compete for the national downhill titles with two giant slaloms.

The specialists in technical disciplines, coming from around forty nations, will have to demonstrate their skill and training on the difficult track of the black slope in Pozza that confirms to be the ideal theatre for international competitions, thanks to its altitude gap (220 metres) and incline (average of 27%).

Event location: Ski Stadium Aloch, Pozza di Fassa - Pera (San Giovanni di Fassa)
