Baita Paradiso - San Pellegrino

Snowshoeing at sunset

In one of the most spectacular places in the Dolomites, this guided snowshoe hike takes place to enjoy the panorama of the peaks illuminated by the last rays of sunlight

Programme: you will ascend with the "Costabella" chairlift, then put on your snowshoes and leave your giant footprints on the mantle of snow of the San Pellegrino Pass, admiring the panorama that opens up in front of you. The guides of the Moena Ski School will take you on this wonderful exploration, where you will have the chance to immerse yourself for a few hours in the immaculate silence of the surrounding nature, broken only by a tasty snack at the legendary Baita Paradiso Refuge. Here Gino awaits you with a recharge of mouth-watering artisanal flavours: freshly baked cakes, cheeses and cold cuts from the Fassa Valley are never lacking! The spectacle of nature begins shortly, just enough time to put on your snowshoes and raise your eyes to the peaks: the "Enrosadira" (the phenomenon that - at sunrise and sunset - sees the Dolomites struck by the sun's rays turn various shades of colour, from orange to pink to red) goes on stage directly from the "Paradise". A crescendo of emotions, an explosion of colours fron yellow to pink, which will make you feel at one with the wonder that surrounds you.

Meeting point: at 3 p.m. at San Pellegrino Pass, at the Moena Dolomiti Ski School office next to the "Costabella" chairlift. Return at approx. 6 p.m.
