A jewel of glacial origin preserved by the San Pellegrino Pass, in whose waters the Dolomite views are reflected.
Lake San Pellegrino is one of the treasures guarded by the homonymous alpine pass at 1,900 meters above sea level, lying on the slopes of Col Margherita. Its waters reflect the many beauties of the area: Cima Iuribrutto, Cima Bocche, Creste di Costabella and the lush larch forests. The body of water, of glacial origin, not bathable and on a bottom of volcanic rocks, arises from a series of rivers that descend from the surrounding mountains. To fully enjoy its great charm, walk along the path that surrounds it, passing walkways and wooden bridges. Its banks are rich in wild flowers and plants, including blueberry bushes, rhododendrons, and fluffy moss cushions. In its waters, you can easily see carp and char.
