The tracks are prepared each night and left immaculately smooth and ready for the classic or the skating technique. Snow throughout the season is guaranteed, thanks to the northern exposure and a new artificial snowmaking system.
Here, cross-country skiing allows you to combine aerobic activity with a full immersion into nature. There are forests, lakes and snowy expanses surrounded by panoramic views of the Juribrutto and Bocche peaks, Col Margherita and Costabella.
Already familiar with narrow skis? Choose the blue "Alochet" and red "Masaré" tracks. The more experienced skiiers might prefer the 10 km "Campo d'Orso" loop, which hosts the training sessions of the Italian national team. There's also a skiing camp for children and beginners and a qualified instructor for people with disabilities, who can hire a specially-adapted sled.
The centre, managed by the municipality of Moena, offers many amenities for cross-country skiers: a cafe, equipment storage and rental (ski waxing, servicing and maintenance), changing rooms, a ski school and free parking. Ski bus connection from Moena (stops on request).
Access to the tracks is paid: €8 per day; €5 in the afternoon (from 12:30 pm); free for children up to age 10.1 free admission with the Trentino Guest Card. The SuperNordicSkipass can be used here.
