Have you ever wondered how ski slopes are prepared? Would you like to know how the snow cannons work and see the control cabin of a snowcat up close? Come and visit us in the Ciampac basin, at the arrival point of the gondola from Alba di Canazei.
Every Thursday, from about 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., our guys, true professionals in the sector, will be waiting for you to ensure perfect snowfall and the best possible skiing, every day from December to April. You will be able to see the powerful machines up close before the night work begins, the cannons in operation, and also satisfy your curiosity about the world of snow and slope safety. You will be able to discover the wonderful world behind skiing, the commitment involved in grooming the slopes and at the same time the excitement that every sunrise and sunset brings. And to finish, a delicious aperitif at the Crepa Neigra Refuge, with an incredible view of the Sella group and Piz Boè. Return to the valley by lift or on skis along the 2 km black Ciampac slope before closing.
Prices: adults € 20; children up to 12 years € 10; free for children up to 3 years. The price includes the activity, the guide and an aperitif at the refuge.
The lift ticket is paid by the participants (ski pass valid). Meeting point at 2.30 p.m. at the top station of the gondola.
