For the Val di Fassa Panorama Music festival, the musical tones of Sardinia resonate at an altitude of 2,000 metres
The Mediterranean Trio takes us on a musical journey across lands, peoples and narratives, combining ancient sounds and modern jazz languages. The protagonists are three masters of improvisation: Gavino Murgia, a multi-instrumentalist from Nuoro with a European reputation, Marcello Peghin, a versatile guitarist from Alghero, and Jarrod Cagwin, an American percussionist who grew up among the rhythmic traditions of the Arab world. An eclectic trio capable of blending jazz, Mediterranean melodies, Indian rhythms and ancient Sardinian voices in evocative sound alchemy. An experience rich in influences and contrasts, where individual musical identities are enhanced in an intense and engaging dialogue.
The concert is free of charge. The cost of the cable car ticket is to be paid by participants (Panorama Pass valid).
Val di Fassa Panorama Music is organised by the cultural association "La Grenz", under the artistic direction of Enrico Tommasini, in collaboration with the valley's cable car companies and with the support of the Val di Fassa Tourist Board.
