More than a festival, it is an occasion on which the mountain sings! In September, music resounds on the peaks of Val di Fassa. No tickets, no queues or reserved seats. The stage is a meadow of nature, the theatre its majesty, the Marmolada, and the screens are alpine lakes. And musicians, artists who intonate notes of landscape, soundtracks of culture and transform instruments into poetry. No supports, just hands, legs, eyes, voice, silence and then rapture and magic.
In September, immerse yourself in the notes of the Fassa Dolomites
I Suoni delle Dolomiti (The Sounds of the Dolomites)
Held since 1995, I Suoni delle Dolomiti is a high-altitude festival of classical, jazz and contemporary music, which appears at dawn with the sun, accompanies it to the zenith and then greets it once again just before sunset. While the musicians tune the wind instruments and strings, you can ascend to the summit on foot or by cable car. And then, if you want, go with them on a hike where music turns into a personal after-hours. You will have the support of mountain guides, rescue workers and escorts who open the paths.
