Non-competitive cross-country skiing or snowshoeing event on a 1.5 km loop, combining sport, friendship and charity
Usually hosted at the Lago di Tesero Cross-Country Ski Centre, this year - in the lead-up to the Olympic Games - Marcialonga Stars is moving to Val di Fassa, in Pozza, to the Ciancoal cross-country skiing area (Fraine).
This event has been held for 25 years in support of LILT - the Italian league for the fight against cancer (Trento provincial section ONLUS) - with the participation of well-known personalities and prominent figures from various fields - from sport to politics, journalism to entrepreneurship and the world of entertainment - united by the desire to contribute to a cause of great value.
The event is non-competitive: participants ski or snowshoe along an easy 1.5 km loop, designed to allow everyone to enjoy a moment of sport and sharing, while actively supporting the charity initiative.
