An overwhelming mix of rock energy and neo-rockabilly vibes in a live performance full of rhythm
31 December in Val di Fassa has a rhythm all its own: fast, sparkling and irresistibly contagious. An atmosphere that fills the villages and invites everyone to choose their own way of celebrating the last night of the year. Some make their way up to the mountain huts for a traditional dinner, others opt for elegant evenings in hotels and restaurants, while many dive into the lively parties of the most fashionable clubs from Canazei to Moena. But the beating heart of New Year's Eve is always the same: the open-air celebrations, where music brings people together, conversations flow and the countdown seems to hum in the air.
From 11 p.m., the Killbilly's Band will light up the square in front of the Dòlaondes aquatic centre with a rousing live performance: the last seconds will become a single chorus, the toast will be raised and the party will start again even stronger in the new year. Raffaella Cordelli (vocals), Mattia Scarabottolo (double bass), Stefano Mosna (guitars), Anthony Dantone (drums): it is a high-adrenaline live band with a sound that blends Rockabilly melodies with the energy of rock'n'roll and the warmth of the blues in an unpredictable cauldron of styles and sounds that pays tribute to the most representative performers of this musical universe. From the great classics of the 50s and 60s, to the Surf Music of Dick Dale & His Deltones, to find their main reference in the Neo-Rockabilly of the Stray Cats, entertainment and the spectacularisation of the live performance are a cornerstone of the band's performances. You just have to hear them live!
