Sand art is a unique illustration technique that involves creating drawings with sand on a light-up surface using only the fingers and palms. Light is used to create subtle shades and the artist's hands transform the illustrations created with sand. The designs slowly take shape in a metamorphosis that never ceases to amaze the viewer, as each work is completely unique.
Simona Gandòla is considered one of the best international sand artists and works throughout Italy as a sand artist. She has collaborated with Francesco De Gregori, Fiorella Mannoia, Alessandro Gasmann and Rai Yo Yo for "Favole della buonanotte" (Bedtime Stories).
At 9 p.m. in the main square of Canazei. In case of bad weather, the show will be held at the Teatro Cinema Marmolada.
