MTB experience in the Fassa Dolomites

Program

Friday October 2nd

• 3:00 pm – Meet at the valley station of the Col Rodella lifts in Campitello di Fassa; meet the guides and attend a brief introductory briefing on the weekend’s programme
• 3:15 pm – Departure with the guides for a Panoramic Tour of the valley: an introductory e-bike ride taking in panoramic views and picturesque routes along the valley floor
• 5:15 pm – Return to the valley station of the lifts in Campitello di Fassa and ascent via the new 3S cable car to Col Rodella
• 5:30 pm – Arrival at the Rifugio Des Alpes, settling into your rooms and a bit of relaxation before enjoying dinner with views of the Dolomites
• Dinner and overnight stay at the rifugio

Saturday October 3rd

• 7:00 am – Start the day with a hearty breakfast at the refuge, and breathe in the atmosphere of Col Rodella to the full
• 8:30 am– Pack all your belongings into your rucksack and set off from Rifugio Des Alpes for the  Sassopiatto Tour: you’ll cross the legendary Città dei Sassi, continue towards Monte Pana, then head up towards Passo Duron and, finally, descend through the spectacular Val Duron. Technical details of the tour: 700 m ascent, 1,300 m descent, distance 36 km
• Halfway through the tour, stop for a well-deserved lunch break with the gourmet picnic provided that morning, to be enjoyed along the route
• Around 4:00 pm – Return to Campitello to round off the MTB Experience in the Fassa Dolomites
