Taste Autumn in Val di Fassa

The meeting point for this delicious "Fassa Fall… in love with Food" experience is Fraine. Here, along the banks of the Avisio stream, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, a series of wooden stalls takes you on an inviting culinary journey from starter to dessert, where local ingredients meet the creativity of the chefs and the traditions of mountain cuisine.The full menu is certainly tempting, but you can also choose to enjoy just one tasting from those available:
Nicola Vian with Agritur Fiores
Smoked trout, cabbage, yoghurt, elderflower and rye crisps, paired with elderflower kombucha made using syrup from Agritur Fiores.
Moreno Valentini with Agritur Soreie
Wheat and beetroot "bottoni" pasta filled with ricotta and black cabbage, served with potato foam and goat's milk from Agritur Soreie.
Gaetano Bonanno with Masc Aloch
Potato gnocchi with porcini mushrooms, Masc Aloch sausage and woodland butter.
Stefano Ghetta and Paolo Naccari with Macelleria Pellegrin
Local veal from Macelleria Pellegrin, glazed with rosehip and served with cabbage, potato, pollen and popcorn from Lum de Roisc.
Matthias Trottner with Mèlga de Fascia
Carrot cake roll with creamy ricotta from Mèlga de Fascia, flavoured with mountain honey from Agritur Ciasa do Parè, whipped with Anterivo lupin coffee and finished with chamomile ice cream from Fiores farm.

If you choose the full experience, the menu is accompanied by two glasses of Trentodoc sparkling wine, juice or herbal tea. There will also be dedicated drinks stands, with tickets available for purchase on site, offering Rampeèr craft beer, syrups and herbal teas from Agritur Fiores, as well as coffee and grappas from N’Outa farm.

Live Ladin Music with PopCorner
Adding even more atmosphere to the event are the voices and melodies of PopCorner, a young band from Val di Fassa created through a project by the Inout cooperative dedicated to promoting minority languages. The group brings together singers Sabrina Calligari, Melany and Mary Locatin, accompanied by Gianpaolo Chiocchetti on guitar, Nicolò Dorich on bass, Daniele Chiocchetti on keyboards and Tommaso Dondio on drums. With contemporary pop sounds and lyrics in the local Fassa Ladin language, PopCorner turn an everyday spoken language into music, creating a fresh and original repertoire. Their concert, scheduled from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, provides the perfect soundtrack to your tastings.

Afternoon Guided WalkOnly for guests purchasing a tasting
Departing from Fraine at 2:30 pm, a local hiking guide will lead you along an easy route through the historic village of Pera, pointing out its most remarkable buildings and most characteristic corners along the way. The group will return to Fraine at approximately 3:30 pm.
