Three new merchandise collections celebrating the local area and younger visitors are now available at the tourist offices in Val di Fassa. The new products from the Fassa Tourist Board invite visitors and residents alike to discover the valley while encouraging a more mindful and responsible way of experiencing the Dolomites.
Alongside the traditional red items featuring the “Val di Fassa official” logo – including water bottles, organic cotton bags and pencil cases – the new “Val di Fassa Respe(c)t” collection makes its debut. It includes eco-friendly shopping bags, water bottles, plantable pencils and the new “Diario di Vetta”, a pocket-sized notebook for recording thoughts, photographs, drawings and memories from the mountains. Inspired by traditional summit logbooks, the diary also offers tips for behaving responsibly in the mountains and reminds us that every action leaves a mark.
The name “Respe(c)t” evokes the word for “respect” in both Ladin and English, bringing together the valley’s local identity and international outlook. The logo, made up of four symbols, represents the four pillars of sustainability: environmental, cultural and socio-economic sustainability, together with good governance. The initiative builds on the journey that led Val di Fassa to achieve international GSTC certification for sustainable tourism last May.
A dedicated children’s collection features “Lis la bolp” – “Lis the fox” in Ladin – a friendly fox appearing on neck warmers, water bottles and a memory game. The mascot is the first in a series of characters inspired by the flora and fauna of the Dolomites, designed to introduce children to the importance of respecting nature through play.
The products are a unique souvenir of Val di Fassa or an original gift idea. The tourist offices also provide free paper bags for visitors to collect litter along the way and carry it back down to the valley, making a small but tangible contribution to protecting the mountain environment.
The souvenirs are available at our Tourist Offices.
