Get ready for one of the most eagerly awaited evenings of the summer in Soraga: "Golosando", the festival that celebrates the joy of being together and the authentic flavours of the Val di Fassa. On the meadow at the foot of the church, as evening falls, the air fills with enticing aromas, chatter and music, whilst volunteers and chefs from the village's hotels bring to life a culinary journey dedicated to Ladin cuisine. The plate is filled with the great classics of the tradition: canederli, barley soup, polenta cooked in a copper pot accompanied by sausage, shank and mountain cheeses, not to mention the traditional desserts that round off the experience on a sweet note. More than just a food festival, "Golosando" is an opportunity to get together, share a meal outdoors and rediscover, one bite at a time, the flavours that tell the story and define the identity of the valley.
But it is not just the food that makes this evening magical. The atmosphere is made even more special by the live music from the "Fleimstaler" trio, who will have you dancing and singing under the stars.
Tickets can be purchased at the cash desk at the entrance to the meadow. Reservations are not required. Seating with takeaway possibility. In case of bad weather the event will be cancelled and postponed until a later date.
