A day in the great outdoors, surrounded by nature, to be charmed by the adorable dwarf goats that graze peacefully on Alpe Lusia during the summer. Following an easy path through rolling alpine meadows, we’ll get to know their little world up close: their names, habits, diet, how they live together… and, of course, their games. An opportunity to learn whilst having fun, breathe in the fresh high-mountain air and enjoy a simple, authentic moment in the company of the animals. We are due back in Valbona around 12.30 pm, with lunch at the mountain hut.
Meeting point: every Friday at 10:00 am at the valley station of the Ronchi-Valbona gondola. Duration: approx. 3 hours. Difficulty: easy. The route is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed. Return to the valley by lift. Maximum 25 participants.
Price including gondola, guided excursion/experience and lunch: € 36 for adults, € 27 for juniors aged 8 to 18 (born after 01/01/2008), € 18 for children (born after 01/01/2018). For holders of the Panorama Pass and Dolomiti Supersummer pass: € 20 for adults, € 18 for juniors and children. Suitable clothing and footwear are required. The programme may vary depending on weather conditions. In case of thunderstorms or bad weather, the activity may be postponed or cancelled.
Chalet Valbona: nature, play, and relaxation
A quiet and welcoming spot, easily accessible, where young and old alike can enjoy an unforgettable day. In the garden of Chalet Valbona you will find: an outdoor playground with a slackline, rope bridges, a zip line and mini-golf; a mini zoo with chickens, goats, sheep and donkeys; and, throughout the summer, fun workshops for children to learn about nature and mountain traditions.
