The Alphornbläser Deutschnofen trio, from Val d'Ega, presents a concert featuring ancient, deep notes that evoke the mountains
For centuries, the alpine horn has been the "telephone" of shepherds, used to communicate from one mountain pasture to another and with the valley. This essential instrument, made from hollow wood, produces harmonious music with natural, intense notes that convey joy, peace and serenity. In the late afternoon, Karl Stuppner, Stefan Pfeifer and Felix Pfeifer will bring these sounds to the market stalls in Vigo: together as the trio Alphornbläser Deutschnofen, from nearby Val d'Ega (Nova Ponente), just beyond the Costalunga Pass and Lake Carezza, they will present a repertoire that combines traditional and modern pieces, for an event full of charm and alpine atmosphere.
At 5 p.m. by the square in front of the tourist office in Vigo. Free entry.
