Ennio Morricone's notes are not just heard: they are lived, breathed and carved into the memory like frames from a film that never ceases to thrill. On the stage of the "Navalge" Theatre in Moena, the soloists of the Colli Morenici orchestra will take the audience on a musical journey through some of the Maestro's most iconic soundtracks. From poignant and sensual love themes to the fast-paced rhythms of Western films and ethereal melodies for voice and solo instruments, each piece is a story that comes back to life, each note a memory that vibrates in the soul. All the arrangements have been tailor-made for the orchestra, enhancing the unique timbre of each instrument without ever betraying the composer's original spirit. The evening will be made even more magical by the presence of the extraordinary soprano Elena Camo, who will give voice to the most lyrical and intense pieces in the repertoire. Once Upon a Time in the West, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, A Fistful of Dollars, Once Upon a Time in America, Gabriel's Oboe, Malèna, Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion, Saharan Dream... and many other timeless masterpieces. Framing the show, live illustrations by painter Andrea Spinelli will merge with words, anecdotes and reflections entrusted to the narrating voice of conductor Nicola Ferraresi.
