A flowery meadow as a table, a delicious basket of cheese and local products as a plate in the majestic natural setting of the Dolomites: this is #CHEESENIC! For the summer, the classic packed lunch has been revisited by agritourisms, mountain huts, refuges and hotels that are partners of the Cheese Route of the Fassa, Fiemme and Primiero valleys ("Strada dei Formaggi delle Dolomiti"). Available in many variants to enhance the genuine flavours of the territory, you can take it with you on a trip or taste it directly on the spot.
Where to book your Cheesnic?
- Agritur Ecogreen Fiores in Vigo di Fassa. When: every day except Thursday. Menu: £14, sandwich, cake and drinks; vegetarian option available. By reservation only: by 6pm the day before.
- Osteria da Carpano in Vigo di Fassa. When: every day until the end of September. Menu: €16, sandwiches, yoghurt, fruit, dessert and drinks; cooler bag included. By reservation only: by 6 p.m. the day before
- L Malgher in Pozza di Fassa. When: every day until September. Menu: sweet and savoury mix with drink; small version €19.50; large version €29.50; cool bag available with a €2.50 deposit. By reservation only: by the day before; menu options for food intolerances available with reservation at least 2 days in advance
- Rifugio Crepa Neigra in Alba. When: every day until the end of August. Menu: two options starting from €12. By reservation only: by 11 a.m. the day before
