As part of the Circen Dolomites Festival and the Festa ta Mont, two days of tightrope walking and circus performances
The Festa ta Mont is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer in Val di Fassa: for two days, Val San Nicolò will also be enlivened by the performances of the Circen Dolomites Festival.
Saturday 2 August 2025
2pm - Circo ta Mont: Dolomitic Highline
"Ago Sul Filo" literally means "needle on a thread": Andrea Agosti is a professional tightrope walker who has been performing all over the world for over 10 years, searching for the best locations. What better place for his show, with suspended walks alternating with acrobatics and stunts to the rhythm of music on his line in Val di Fassa? On the occasion of the Festa ta Mont, Ago Sul Filo will cross Val San Nicolò on his slackline.
Sunday 3 August 2025
2 p.m. - Circo ta Mont: SunSom
"Circensema" ventures into its natural habitat, roped together in the mountains, braving the elements and countless unexpected events: an entertaining, engaging and energetic circus show.
Val San Nicolò can be reached on foot from Pozza di Fassa or by shuttle bus (Vidor > Saùch route; runs from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; €3 single ticket; €5 return ticket).
These are just some of the shows at the Circen Dolomites Festival. For a whole week, from 25 July to 3 August, Val di Fassa will host established street artists and talented international jugglers. Squares, museums and even high-altitude locations will be transformed into exceptional stages for amazing performances of skill and inventiveness. The festival is organised by the Fassa jugglers' group "Circensema", founded in 2017 in collaboration with the local association "Inout", which has been practising circus arts for several years and also trains teenagers, together with professionals, who perform in shows throughout the year, combining juggling with theatre.
