As part of the Circen Dolomites Festival, an evening performance in the forest by "Muruya", at "Pianac" above the village of Vigo
"Muruya circo" is a poetic and ironic show that tells the story of the search for balance between lightness, dreams and little follies. With grace and sensitivity, an emotional journey is brought to the stage, made up of silences, glances and movements suspended on a slack rope. In a world that alternates between comedy and wonder, Muruya engages adults and children alike without the need for words, winning over the audience with the sheer force of her presence. The show is performed by Muruya, a multifaceted Argentine artist – clown, tightrope walker, acrobat and contortionist – who has enchanted audiences in over 17 countries with her universal language of body, poetry and heart.
The Pianac area in Vigo can be reached from the town centre with a short, easy walk starting in front of the Hotel Vael. The show is free of charge; a picnic blanket is recommended. In case of bad weather, it will be held in the events pavilion in front of the Hotel Vael.
"Muruya circo" is one of the shows of the "Circen Dolomites Festival". For a whole week, from 25 July to 3 August, the Val di Fassa hosts established street artists and talented international jugglers. Squares, museums, but also high-altitude locations are transformed into exceptional stages for amazing performances of skill and inventiveness. The festival is organised by the Fassa juggling group "Circensema", founded in 2017 in collaboration with the local association "Inout", which has been practising circus art for a number of years and also trains, together with professionals, a number of teenagers who perform in shows throughout the year, combining juggling with theatre.
