An overwhelming show that combines circus techniques and rhythm with surprising harmony: this is "The Juggling Drummer". The sticks fly through the air, performing spectacular tricks without ever breaking the beat, while the audience is drawn into an interactive game of beats and smiles. Gaku is a Japanese artist and musician who has combined his two passions since childhood. After training in Australia, he made his debut in Sydney as a street artist and has performed all over the world. Today, he is a certified "Heaven Artist" of the city of Tokyo.
At 9 p.m. in the square in front of the tourist office in Vigo di Fassa. In case of bad weather the show will be held at the event pavilion in Vigo di Fassa at the same time.
"The Juggling Drummer" is one of the shows at the Circen Dolomites Festival. For a whole week, from 25 July to 3 August, the Val di Fassa will host established street artists and talented international jugglers. Squares, museums and even high-altitude locations will be transformed into exceptional stages for amazing performances of skill and inventiveness. The festival is organised by the Fassa juggling group "Circensema", founded in 2017 in collaboration with the local association "Inout", which has been practising circus arts for several years and also trains, together with professionals, a group of teenagers who perform in shows throughout the year, combining juggling with theatre.
