Folk and Alpine songs that tell of stories, traditions and mountain life
Founded in Torcegno in 1982 and conducted since 1993 by Maestro Fulvio Ropelato, the Lagorai Choir takes its name from the mountain range that overlooks the eastern Valsugana and from which its choristers hail.
Through a repertoire of folk songs, Alpine chants and traditional religious hymns, the choir gives voice to the stories of mountain people: tales of emigration, ancient trades, love, village life and the difficult times that have shaped communities of the past. Each piece preserves a memory and helps to pass on a cultural heritage that belongs to the entire Alpine region.
At 9 pm at the events pavilion Ischia, near the Col Rodella 3S cable car. Free entry.
