Some sing for passion, and some have carried the stories of our valleys in their hearts and voices for more than 45 years, telling tales of love, war, legends and ancient memories. The Trentino Alpine Choir of Gardolo was officially founded in 1967, but its roots go back even further, to 1949, with the Negritella Choir directed by Alfeo Caracristi. It is a choir that has crossed eras and borders, taking its repertoire to Germany, Austria and wherever there was an audience ready to listen. The twinning with the D.A.V. (Deutsche Alpenverein) in Altdorf in 1976 opened the doors to a long series of cultural exchanges and international concerts. Led today by Roberto Deflorian, the choir continues to renew itself by involving young people and veterans, all united by a single desire: to sing together with enthusiasm and spontaneity. The repertoire? Folk and mountain songs that still speak to us today: of courage, nostalgia and friendship. Each piece is a small window onto the past, but with the living power of choral singing that unites us all. Listening to them in concert is like taking a journey: through voices, stories and emotions. Let them accompany you.
At the events pavilion in Pozza at 9.15 p.m. with free admission.
