A musical journey with a mountain soul, since 1989. Directed by Maestro Paolo Scalet, the "Vanoi" Choir brings to Pozza the genuine traditions of a little-known valley, between Lagorai and Cima d'Asta
The Vanoi Choir was founded in 1989, thanks to the initiative of a group of mountain singing enthusiasts and under the guidance of Maestro Leandro Pasqualetto. Since then, the choir has gone beyond the borders of its valley, located at the eastern end of Trentino, exploring new musical territories and bringing its voice to wider audiences. Among the significant milestones in its history are the performance of the "Missa Melodica" in 2001 and numerous collaborations with national and international musical ensembles, which testify to its growing artistic recognition. Since 2001, the choir has been conducted by Maestro Paolo Scalet. With a male voice formation of about thirty members, it continues to preserve and spread the cultural heritage of the Vanoi Valley, receiving recognition as a "choir of national interest" in 2011. In recent years, it has taken part in some of the most representative events of Italian choral music: in 2015, it participated in the Milan EXPO as the official representative of Trentino, while in November 2019, it accompanied Pope Francis' entrance into St. Peter's Square in Rome for the general audience.
At the events pavilion in Pozza, at 9.15 p.m. with free admission.
