The band from South Tyrol, accompanied by the Folk Group of Soraga, parades through the village streets and performs on the lawn in front of the church
The Aldino Town Band performs an enjoyable and lively repertoire that really engages the audience. Active since 1913, the band hails from the Monte Regolo plateau in South Tyrol, south of Bolzano, and today comprises around 45 musicians who share a passion for music, which they see as an opportunity for socialising, community and participation. Conducted by Michael Erschbamer, the band accompanies local celebrations, concerts and events, carrying on a tradition that unites several generations and, through its traditional uniform, evokes the identity of South Tyrol's mountain villages.
In case of bad weather, the parade is cancelled and only the concert will be held in the multi-purpose hall of the "La Gran Ciasa" community building. Free admission.
