The evening is enlivened by the Anterivo folk dance group (Bolzano), who perform classic choreographies from the South Tyrolean tradition, accompanied by the notes of the accordion
The dancers come from a small village on the border between Trentino and South Tyrol, the only German-speaking municipality in the Val di Fiemme, nestled in the heart of the Monte Corno Natural Park. In pairs, they present themselves to the audience wearing traditional costumes in bright colours and fine fabrics, once reserved for special occasions such as solemn celebrations, special anniversaries and even weddings. The programme features a sequence of folk dances from the Alpine region, accompanied by ancient melodies handed down from generation to generation and enlivened by the unmistakable sound of the accordion. The show begins with an entrance dance, followed by waltzes, polkas and the final salute. But the party doesn't end there: the audience will be invited to take to the dance floor for two final dances, in a moment of joyful sharing that celebrates music, tradition and community spirit.
At 9.15 p.m. in the multi-purpose hall of the "La Gran Ciasa" community building in Soraga (tourist office). Free entry.
